此線上講座涵蓋助教的核心職責與提升英語溝通技巧的策略 。我們將探討EMI助教職責,並透過發音掌握、精簡語句和活用情境短語,讓助教能更清晰地表達,成為課堂中不可或缺的神隊友 。

This online workshop covers the core responsibilities of EMI TAs and strategies to enhance English communication skills. We will explore EMI TA responsibilities, and through mastering pronunciation, concise phrasing, and practical situational expressions, empower TAs to articulate clearly and become indispensable team players in the classroom.

本訓練課程將探討如何在EMI課堂中善用人工智慧工具以提升教學與學習成效。參與者將實際體驗AI在課程設計、學生互動及評量應用上的整合方式。

This training course explores how AI tools can enhance teaching and learning in English-medium instruction (EMI) classrooms. Participants will gain hands-on experience integrating AI into lesson planning, student engagement, and assessment.

Bridging the Gap: Effective Communication with Professors and Students

銜接鴻溝:與教授及學生的有效溝通技巧

講師:Henry Campbell - Fulbright Foundation 學術交流基金會

本堂課程將帶領參與者探索在EMI課堂中進行雙向溝通的實用策略。重點將放在TA如何與教授有效溝通,釐清教學目標與期望,同時也涵蓋如何在文化與語言差異下與學生互動並提供協助。透過情境討論與角色扮演,參與者將練習清楚表達、回應誤解,並學習如何在不同溝通平台(如電子郵件、即時通訊、面對面)中有效互動。目標是提升助理在日常溝通中的自信與清晰度,進而營造支持性的教學環境。

In this session, participants will explore practical strategies for navigating two-way communication in an EMI classroom. The workshop will focus on how TAs can effectively communicate with professors to clarify teaching goals and expectations, as well as how to engage and support students across cultural and language barriers. Through scenario-based discussions and role-playing, participants will practice expressing themselves clearly, responding to misunderstandings, and managing communication across different platforms (e.g., email, messaging apps, in-person). The goal is to enhance confidence and clarity in day-to-day interactions while building a supportive classroom environment.
